RANSHOM SHIP PT.SINAR KUDUS UP
Ghost Ship owned by PT Sinar Samudera Indonesia, which was hijacked by pirates in Somalia in the Arabian Peninsula was estimated to carry cargo of nickel valued at Rp1.4 trillion. But now the fate of the release of 21 crew erratic. This is not out becausesince 16 March, the Somali pirates demanded a ransom of U.S. $ 2.6 million. Becauseno response, pirates continue to increase the ransom to $ 3.5 million approximatelyUSD 31 billion.
The ship was hijacked while carrying the Holy Light of nickel ore (ferronickel) owned PTAneka Tambang (Antam) Tbk from Southeast Sulawesi Pomalaa towards RotterdamNetherlands. All of the crew, amounting to 21 people are people of Indonesia., including the captain Juari Slamet, a prisoner of pirates.
PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk has also requested assistance to the Indonesian government in negotiations with the pirates. But I think the government should in this case gave the order to the military for freeing the hostages is much less our country hasproved resilient soldiers in the battlefield.
